I can appreciate folk enjoying the novelty of throwing around a few cents at each other, but the idea of just frivolously throwing sats around like this will go down as another "Bitcoin Faucet" type legend IMO.
I don't like it. One of the reasons I've disabled receiving zaps. I don't want to trivialize the importance of a single Satoshi.
I can appreciate and thank the folk that are here around me testing nostr zaps - a truly amazing idea/implementation - but just throwing cash around like that, or "receiving tips" isn't my style.
When I think of "sound investing", the concept of having any fun usually goes entirely out the window, naturally falling entirely to the procedures of pragmatism.
When I hear about people pushing to use custodial LN wallets just for interacting with nostr, I start to see real harm being done.

Yeah, I get that. Thanks for the detail. I’m just more interested in getting people to use it, in order to see the real value there. But, I think that totally makes sense and good for you.
