We should have an Elo for Nostr Users just like Chess.

Every post can increase or decrease your Elo based on the difference between actual reactions to expected relations all weighted by the Elo's of the reaction authors themselves.

Maybe a DVM can keep Elo labeling people using NIP-32.

expected relations -> expected reactions.

Unless I am misunderstanding (which there is likely a high chance of) I feel like this edges into dangerous territory, akin to social scoring. Kinda weird imo.

Would be so easily gameable

I am not so sure. You could buy influence from bigger accounts, but you couldnt just create random accounts to game the system.

Its similar to PageRank in that sense. Can you game it? Only because Google has all these other ways of looking at a page. But it is still the best we have.

Hive does something similar, and it works pretty well at keeping posts and comments more civil.

Based chess player !

Elo suffers from inflation in chess, and in your idea would suffer even more (it would basically represent when you joined the network).

Implementing trust scores is the way, but they should not be global, but local!

Local means that they are personalized based on the end user.

discrimination > legislation :D

Sure. Make it local then :)
