Do you think it was luck or something conscious in you that kept you from going down the path of your peers? Usually environment has such an influence on people it can be hard to shake. Great success story though!
I distinctly remember being mocked by a friend’s father for answering some question by saying “I read it in a book”. I was probably 9 or 10 at the time. Most of the guys that ended up on drugs (addicted that is - I experimented myself!) just weren’t curious people. We always had books at home - not necessarily good ones but I had a big encyclopaedia that I’d devour and a 40 volume set of books called the joy of knowledge. Honestly, just reading and being curious was the secret weapon. It took me into my mid 20s to sort myself out properly though!

Great story and great to meet people on here. Have barely spoken to anyone with similar views on bitcoin or money. People think I’m mad talking about it or just a nerd for being interested or curious in things as you say
Yeah. I generally just keep my mouth shut. I have spoken to some really smart engineering guys who not only don’t grasp the beauty of the system, they’re not interested in what it represents. It’s something you need to work on to fully grasp - and this is usually a solo project. The next bull will create another set of followers I guess
