React has always been bad
Discussion
As I'm getting better & better at programming, can you give me your TLDR as to why?
What are your recommendations of 'proper' codebases, to use instead of React?
Really trying to program 'correctly' for us (Bitcoin, Nostr alike)
use whatever makes you the mostr productive
Unless you contribute to the giant sludge pile of JSX in GitHub
The reason React Sucks Donkey Balls is that it introduces fake standards like JSX and complex toolchains that transpile to JS... Fuck that shit. These are gross hacks.
Learn JavaScript, Learn CSS, Learn HTML, Learn Standards.
Learn that everything React does in its disgusting JSX / transpiled way and all of the reactive bits of react are now in the browser.
You Don't Need A Build Step Anymore
You can just write Web Components and never use Babel or Webpack again
I dare you
As a non dev, out of curiosity, is this considered "fighting talk" and throwing down the gauntlet?
Yes. Also I hate Facebook with every fiber of my being
Facebook is that thing that old people use no?
Sarcasm aside, does my head in that lots of companies in Costa rica use Facebook instead of having a bloody website. And then get looked at as if you somehow an alien for not having an account.
Great note
You made me realize what all these "frameworks" are; just that, structural "templates" instead of just using the raw HTML CSS JS
This is what I've been trying to do, just write micro webapps with JS.
Last quick question,
Does it matter necessarily between JavaScript and typescript?
Or just sell weed instead ðŸ§
