Wolfgang Stiller is a German artist born in 1961, famous for his "Matchstickmen" series: sculptures of giant matches with burnt human heads, symbolizing the burnout and fragility of life.
_ Trained in Düsseldorf, he has exhibited all over the world (New York, Tokyo, London... ) and lives in Berlin.
His art mixes matter, surrealism and existential reflection, leaving free course for the viewer's interpretation.
