Well, friends. Today it was my turn in the barrel. I got laid off from my fiat job along with most of my coworkers.

I’m not interested in returning to that world again, and want to build the next phase of my career in bitcoin. I want to put my years of experience in creative, design, branding, and marketing to a better purpose, to help integrate bitcoin, the Lightning Network, nostr, and the ideas, values, and vision we share into the culture at large.

If any of you have ideas, a business, or a connection that I should make, let’s talk. Or feel free to tag someone in a reply.

Well technically, nostrocket will probably qualify as a “DAO” at some point. I fully expect DAOs to emerge on nostr and be useful. Of course most DAOs at this point are just a reason to issue a new token Ponzi

I remain unoptimistic that there will ever be a DAO I would consider useful.

DAO is just an “O” that pretends to be D and A, and is a scam. DAOs are DOA. 😂

I don’t blame you, it seems pretty far-fetched that they would actually work and remain stable. I think Nostr gives the best chance of success, but that doesn’t mean they will (or should) succeed.
