My little sister had her first day in middle school last week.

I was home and saw how enthusiastic and happy she was to start. She was excited to play in the school orchestra be active in the school committee for her class and was waking up happy to go learn.

Today I called back home and the situation changed 180 degrees.

She hates school now.

The teachers told her pretty harsh that she’s not good enough yet to play in the orchestra (she’s 10) and didn’t get voted into the committee…

This is crazy and makes me furious.. teachers have such a big responsibility and most of them don’t give a fuck on how to communicate with little children. I start seeing more and more flaws after being homeschoolpilled… this is just so much worse since me and my family feel so powerless…

Any advice?

(Homeschooling is not an option where she lives)

There will be many disappointments along the way.

What did she learn from it? That her brother does give a shit about her and probably will long after the shitty teachers are gone

she won't be able to buy that or have someone teach it

That was my thoughts. The teachers don’t care and show that. You showed her care and love just by being concerned about what bothers her! It’s important to help her see how to get fulfillment without the “Authority’s” approval. Same with the orchestra or the class committee.
