Sold a dude a car. told him it had issue with burning oil and i recently had the coils replaced.

now he's hitting me up for repair cost he got quoted from the dealership.

told him i'd pay for spark plugs and coils but not the labor.

he seems very disgruntled.

he test drove the car and I was very upfront about the issues i knew about.

apparently the dealership magically found some other issues even though I just had it in a local shop in July.

drove it almost daily to and from work. suddenly it needed to be towed in the 3 days that he took possession after the sale.

**sigh** it's all so tiresome. i know people are struggling so it feels bad but I don't feel like i acted in bad faith.

also, why take it to a dealer?!? always pricier at a dealership...

You don't owe that guy nothing. The problem that, that dealership is telling him is probably not even a real problem,is to get money from him. Never take your car to real dealerships.

That was my first thought. That’s why I’m only saying I’ll give him fiat back for the parts I know would be replaced.

Just don’t like burning bridges but he keeps pushing I’m going to tell him to fuck off and ignore it.
