BUT I think Yuval Harari is even better because what he is saying is not only nonsense, but also so blatantly far from the truth that unless you are a part of the cantillionaire class, I don't see how you could even remotely agree with anything he is saying.

Haven't read or listened to Sapiens. But I heard he made a good case for the fact that human flourishing stems from our ability to continually increase and/or become more efficient with our energy usage.
But yeah, what he says in the video... I mean "as a historian" he should learn the history of money before spewing BS like this. I'll bet he gets some nice fat paychecks for that kind of stuff. Disgraceful.
I have Sapiens, and I read it some time ago.
From what I remember it's just an overview of a lot of history I already knew.
But it did remind me that we are quite primitive beings that have been thrust into a technological world, mostly due to massive climate change, suddenly coming out of the last ice age. I thought it's no wonder I feel happier when I'm outside in nature, acting like a hunter gatherer.
