Last night I bought enough parts to build a second computer which should be able to run Qubes (at least v4.2).
Hopefully this will let me get to the bottom of this bizarre issue where hidraw devices were fully functional in Qubes 4.1 and seem to have certain packets filtered in #Qubes 4.2.
That is... IF I can get Qubes 4.1 to install on my current machine so I can do a side by side comparison. Hopfully I will be able to work on this on Saturday. #signet

Update: No #Signet #Saturday this week, as my local #Makerspace is having their grand reopening and I'm going to be there showing people what the space has to offer.
There's a chance I might try to repair the one bad #build that I have while I'm there, but no #Qubes work. Maybe I'll be able to work the Qubes testing into my "spare time" 🤣.
Backup failed. Ran out of disk space. Made disk bigger and trying again now.
Next, copy to external media, integrity check, then repeat.
I'm hella serious about backups with this process now. The hardest part is not using the computer during this whole process so my backups are not out of date.
