A man in shadows, bound by chains,

For roads he paved beyond their reins.

A dream of freedom, wild and wide,

Now buried deep where hope can’t hide.

For others walk where he once stood,

Yet he alone bears blame for good.

A voice unheard, a sentence steep,

The cost of daring dreams that leap.

Let mercy find him, clear the night,

And open doors to set it right.
