The war on privacy and censorship sure seems to be accelerating lately. X and Rumble in Brazil, kids looking to be cut from social media in Australia and uk citizens being jailed for social media posts.

In this new age of AI with the ability to mimic people’s voices and make ever more convincing deep fake videos, it doesn’t take much imagination to see how terrifying this could be. If a government doesn’t like what someone is saying, they could potentially make a deep fake video and throw that person in jail, essentially a digital reeducation camp.

#cryptography is our weapon to fight this type of tyranny. It is the best way to prove that what you post comes from you.

Public/private key pairs is the way. #nostr is the way.

In a sense this is a Call to arms.
