...but, I like to think about the internet, (some) software, (some) services as public good -- common infra, like roads -- a funding from taxetion would be a good solution. In this way libre software and public services would have funding. Humanity would benefit from such approach.

I agree, there are way too many. I saw this as a guy that sells ad space for a living. The way they are targeted is a problem, the amount that is spent trying to get people to buy shit they don’t need is a problem, it honestly the system needs to be reworked. But we all know how willing the powers that be are to having their system reworked. 😅
