Why does Zeus, Ride the Lightning and my Lightning node app all have different balances? (Within 3000 sats)

any of your peers offline? i have a pretty big discrepancy btw RTL & thunderhub and i think it's because one of my channels is offline. i barely know what im doing tbh

They all have slightly different ways of estimating the needed reserves.

This makes sense since it’s such a small difference. Just odd they don’t standardize at least, or tell me the real amount I hold

It's all estimated, they can't possibly know what it might cost to force close a channel at any one time.

Umbrel definitely does some funky calculation in our experience.

Use lncli as the source of truth. We like to think the balance we display is on the money.

Maybe displaying pending htlcs differently and/or at different points in time assuming you mean channel balances not on-chain
