It starts at home. Don’t rely on public education for anything.
I agree, however, how do we teach kids about practical skills if their parents are not handy? That is the question that I have been trying to answer. Thoughts?
Their parents are not “handy” because their parents failed them too.
To answer your question though, in short, we give them shop classes and stop slandering blue collar work.
