It’s very impressive. I was even more impressed by the town at the base. The jungle rises up above it into the mists of the mountains, and the river runs through it like a grinding torrent.

Yes, that's the town. When we were there the river was so fast and violent it made a sound like a frieght train. Our hotel was right across the street. It was surreal.
