And most employers up where I live are enforcing 10 hour workdays. That two hours is when I used to go to the gym and get a little personal development time every day. It’s a huge difference.

Not having a single hour for yourself each day is a soul crusher.

Not only has the dollar lost purchasing power, the wage earner also received a smaller portion of the pie. Exec and shareholder portions have grown, too.
