It is so insanely bizarre to me how much the baby boomer generation trusts the government when the government drafted them into a war no one believed in (which is why they needed a draft) in Vietnam. They would have let you die like a fuckin mutt and here you are submissively accepting the adults in the room.
This is a different govt. This govt is made up of boomers, so it shares their values.
