Saying JD failed assumes he has control over Europens choices, which he does not. It is like telling the sober wife of an alcoholic husband that she failed because her husband drinks. We are only responsible for what we control, and we do not control people making bad choices. All we can do is speak the truth, and decide the extent to which we "separate from the tribe."
