It is 2023 and you still cant create shortcuts in Ubuntu via GUI. How the hell does anyone put up with this?

Why is bitcoin open source stuff so good and linux so bad?

Install literally any other DE and you're good

I don't know why I was under the impression that Ubuntu was the easy one to use 😂

Yeah but the default DE suffers from "Apple syndrome" as I call it - so simple that it paradoxically becomes hard to customise in any way.

Try Linux mint cinnamon. What you're talking about is the user interface UI. In Linux you can have multiple user interfaces that can do anything you want.

Linux is enormously powerful and flexible. But you need a distribution like Linux Mint to start out. It does most everything for you. Like Mac or Windows.

But you don't have to take it of the ass..😆
