they were good cheap skateboarding shoes in the day, vans were better but also more expensive... i think they have a hipster premium on them these days anyway, and it's probably cheaper and better to buy vans

I suspected this. They were probably cheap and didn't last long. Not they are not so cheap and made worse and last even less time

yeah, made in china most probably, when i was a kid they were probably made in the USA

USA manufacturing is good, shame there is almost none anymore
