Replying to Avatar Kale

Question:

I currently have all my Bitcoin on a Ledger and purchased both a Coldcard Q and Blockstream Jade Classic.

When I move to the new hardware device, do I import my existing seed phrase OR do I generate a new seed and then send the Bitcoin to a new addy?

Do you trust Ledger and yourself to have not compromised your existing seed phrase in some way? If so, import existing; if not generate new.
