Happy new year everyone!

I've now been on a carnivore diet for more than a year! No counting, tracking, excess hunger or other unsustainable habits. Down by about 5 inches off my waist and 60 lbs in about six months, and then about 5-10 lbs up of muscle mass from working out! I feel great and very active.

I started in December of 2023, I had gradually moved towards eating more beef and meat throughout the previous year. I started with a 90 day trial of beef, butter, bacon and eggs (and other meats) and then just kept it going after three months. I still do spices and coffee. I've tried reintroducing a few foods since then, however didn't like how I felt after or didn't see the point.

After introducing a workout at the gym three times per week, I noticed my hunger increase. I've since needed to increase the fat to protein ratio of the food I eat, more than 1:1, by weight, is usually about right.

Here is to the improvements of 2025. Let's go!
