Turns out Nostr works a lot better when you're not blocking half your relays with DNS sinkholing because they're newly registered domains šŸ˜…

Feed looks much more like I expect today.

Which lists are you using that were blocking those?

Or was it custom regexes?

Or are you blackholing everything and whitelosts everything you need manually (that would be tinfoil next level)?

I use NextDNS and one of the options to enable is blocking newly registered domains.

Highly recommend it for malware prevention but obviously has potential pitfalls.

Nice save, I’m in the middle of setting up NextDNS roght now and I stopped to check Nostr šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Yeah, was messing with my relays and noticed about half had errors, whitelisted them and voila!

I wonder how that works. Does it query WHOIS records for each domain? That would be slow if that's the case....

Probably someone has a list of domains registered each day and they roll them off after a set time period.

Honestly not 100% sure!
