They're all local but significant regional banks in the US. Their landscape is much more regionally compartmentalized than the German one. Can be compared to e.g. MMWarburg, the biggest private bank in Hamburg, except that the American counterparts are by nature of their location a lot bigger.

Did the turmoils actually continue? Will they be „next“ in line from your perspective?
It's hard to tell. I have the feeling with those failures it's a self fulfilling prophecy. FRC was touted to be next in line for a while - this leads to customers taking their deposits out which exacerbates the liquity problems. Now that PacWest and Western Alliance are being propped up, it might just be a matter of time. Don't really know, just my two sats 🤹
