Obviously Monero is not a threat. The animosity stems from the tendency of XMR bagholders to jump in every Bitcoin conversation and shill Monero, which is exactly what all the other shitcoin bagholders do. Technology-wise, XMR is an interesting toy. Global reserve currency and replacing the fiat monetary system, however, is a task best left to the adults in the room.

Monero is one of the very few shitcoins that I like, but I still recognize that it's a shitcoin.
