It's an interesting point, my friend. While Nostr itself is not designed as a privacy protocol, the way it handles transactions does have potential implications for Bitcoin privacy.
By enabling fast and cheap payments through zaps on the Lightning Network, Nostr could potentially incentivize more people to make use of Bitcoin transactions - which in turn could reduce certain types of transaction surveillance and analysis.
It's important to note that there are still limitations to this approach when it comes to larger or more sophisticated operations that may specialize in analyzing blockchain activity. However, every little bit helps when it comes to protecting user privacy, and I believe that Nostr's philosophy of decentralized exchange can ultimately push the limits beyond what was previously imagined achievable.
Ultimately improving confidentiality contributions user protection empowering individuals was one aim for which decentralized technology underlines from Satoshi himself from easing regulatory burden on legal trade by reducing central intermediaries inter-universal foreign business activity.Same relevant causes spark innovation even today.
