We were sitting around the fire pit with my daughter and her boyfriend, both 19. He’s a car and diesel performance mechanic apprentice, just about done school. And a performance PC hobbyist. Out of nowhere he says “hey I’m thinking about getting a couple Antminer S9’s to mess around with and learn some mining basics.” And starts talking about what pools to use vs solo. I turned to my daughter and said “I think he can stay over tonight.” Lol.

I guess my incessant talk over the past two years about how they need to get themselves off zero while the getting is good has sunk in a bit.
