Bloodwork came back with high levels of creatine and iron and lower white blood cell count.

I'm not full carnivore but on a higher protein/fat diet but still have the carbs for my 2nd meal. I usually have steak/bacon/saugages /eggs or leftover protein for the first meal then regular mix on carbs, meat, veg and fruits with dinner with my family for the 2nd.

Is it expected with the increase in the red meat and eggs? Do I need to exercise more then 3 times a week? Are there things I can do reduce it like avoid certain foods such as sausages, store bought bacon bits and deli meats?

Do you actually feel any symptons or did they just tell you your white blood count is low? Also how high are creatine and iron bc they're both good for you

Yeah only other things is that I'm getting hives at the end of a workout and worst at the end of a hot yoga session. Which allergist says is not caused by diet and just to treat with antihistamine.

I'm working out more too which I believe the body creates more creatine too right?

Are you taking creatine as a supplement? Iron could be high for a few reasons. How low are we talking for WBC still within normal range?

No supplements just fish oils for dry eyes.

How long have you been low carb? Can take some time to adjust all of the body to a high protein low carb lifestyle.

Any specific symptoms or feeling unwell?

About 2 month now. I'm feeling great overall. More energy and focus. More time an motivation at the gym. Getting gains and dropped about 10 lbs. Haven't been sick.

Yeah your creatinine and iron are high because you're eating more meat.

High iron is fine. High creatinine is fine with adequate hydration to maintain kidney health.

The WBC count being down is a mystery to me. How low is it? Perhaps your immune system is just calming down since you've removed inflammatory grains and seed oils from your diet.

Hmm I forgot to note the WBC number. Will have to get it next time. Dr. Asked me to take another blood test and to also stop eating so much red meat and the my organs need carbs.

I also have some weekend aka daughters bday that threw me off for a couple days with the desserts. Also might have gorged on some bacon or sausage for my first meal before the test in the afternoon.

Anything I should do or avoid before my next blood test? I'll probably do it in the morning after a 12+ hr fast.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Pay attention to how what you eat makes you feel in the hours after.

My cholesterol was almost 300 my last physical and my doctor was about to say something but I told him it's because I consume a stick of butter a day.

I'm not worried about heart disease because I have low inflammation.

Low and high are relative terms and completely meaningless without actual numbers. Consult your doctor to rule out other conditions, nothing here is actual medical advice.

High iron - is it UIBC, TIBC, ferritine? Lower wbc - what level, exactly? Diet doesn't affect leukocyte levels, it is important to rule out other conditions. And, again, creatinine, how high is it? Kidney function can be measured with creatinine, age and race factors. Urea is also important to know when talking about kidneys.

I'll be seeing my Dr. again after another blood test. Going to check for cholesterol this time as well.
