Reminds me of the last time I used a fax. This was a bit before COVID. Tried to order something from Amazon Japan and they told me me to fax over my passport and credit card statement before they authorised the payment...

The fax is some very ancient tech! LOL 🤣 When I last visited Japan, they seemed miles ahead tech wise to anywhere else I have seen though. So futuristic with the flashing bridge and Tokyo 🗼 tower at night.
