Coins that were involved in criminal activities are considered "tainted", so when you try to move them via exchanges, you better have some good coffee ready for the visitors in suits. 😁

I’m aware that Bitcoin doesn’t care and all coins are equal, but I wonder if US decides to sell some of those coins in future, how that will play out.

I guess the obvious solution is that they’ll just get some sort of exception and declare those coins clean.
