Mining gives you nonkyc sats but at an upfront cost of the miner plus ongoing electricity costs. Plus it helps secure the network and you can leverage the waste heat in the winter to supplement your heating costs. If you're trying to mine for profit you'll need low cost energy and a top of the line miner.

Buying sats is simple and you can still get nonkyc. It's much faster to stack by buying.

Ain't nothing quite the same as a home-grown bitcoin, but unless you have nearly free energy you'll find it cheaper at the corner store.

Also depends how much you wanna buy. Gotta be tens of thousands of dollars to be worth the hardware outlay I'd think?
