Born in Huddersfield in 1984, his practice began with design models at university—but quickly evolved into sculptural works that echo nature’s curves, patterns, and growth.

Inspired by organic forms, Richard explores three-dimensional structure through hands-on paper manipulation.

His work blends art, design, and geometry—revealing beauty in simplicity and structure. He now teaches and leads workshops worldwide, sharing his passion for paper as a sculptural medium.
