If you listen to the mainstream media, then you get the impression our Republic is gone because the Supreme Court is corrupt. This is repulsive and destructive to our society. We need to take a strong look at the improper influence of our news media. It is clear they are almost completely reporting opinions. Those opinions are easily influenced by foreign interests, and I’ve personally seen this happening. It affects policies. It affects our national security. As I’ve said before antitrust is one tool, but there are likely others for breaking up and decentralizing American media. We also need to look closely at cutting off foreign sources of propaganda. National security is much more than fighter jets and ships in our globally connected world. There is no more important duty than to protect the Constitution. It provides controls if we honor and abide it. As Benjamin Franklin said, “if we can keep it.”
