TIL the UK has only been an island since 4,200 BC. People had developed writing in Mesopotamia before the England was an island.

Yet some people today think that if the sea level rises by 1 meter, it will mean the end of life on earth.

People will believe whatever they are told to believe by their designated authority.

Now look into the Bible & stories about giant trees that went as high or higher than 3-5 miles into the sky.

History is a funny thing. Ain’t it?

Today, the English channel (which isn’t as old as bronze tools, pottery, painting or writing) is 21 miles wide and 400ft deep.

But tonnes of people believe climate change is a new thing and that 1 meter of sea level rise = end of world. 🤡 embarrassing.

I thought it was earlier but it’s still a reminder that things change and change quickly (in geological terms).

It reminds me of the interesting fact that sharks have been around longer than trees and the rings of Saturn
