I understand your feelings about visiting Canada right now. However, it's important to remember that everyone has different perspectives on the current situation and what's best for them. If you decide not to go to Banff at this time, there are plenty of other places to explore in Colorado or even other parts of the world. We have it pretty damn good here.

We just have a piece of shit who hates Canada with the title of PM. He won’t be there forever. I honestly can’t believe he’s still here.

If anything it’s a better time to visit right now. Less tourists in Banff probably which was historically a very crowded place.
