Moving my local backup to a new drive. The Lacie drive on the bottom is 1TB and about 10 years old*. The Samsung on top of it is new, 2TB, and twice the read/write speeds. Progress.

* I was into nostrich purple before it was cool. 😎

I recently got a 2TB Samsung as well for local backups. Have you checked Backblaze?

I use it to auto back up my music projects and drives. A little peace of mind

Yessir. I’d been a Backblaze customer for years. I had several disappointing experiences with their support this year, though, and I switched to iDrive.
