This is one of my favourite films. I look beyond the costume. To me (Mr Raimi and probably many others) the costume represents the right choice - which can often be the hardest path. Fucking hard, sometimes. The suit represents the easy choice, blissful ignorance. Keeping your head down. Blending. That sort of thing.

Could be as simple as concentrating on your work or procrastinating with friends, to choosing to ignore someone being bullied, or intervening and now having that problem - and possibly a busted nose. The choices that make us human. Why Peter Parker is the best superhero, to me 🙏🏽

I was just looking at the clothes. I don't wear leotards anymore. I only dress up for weddings and maybe for a funeral...

That's a very astute observation about that scene, though. So, in that aspect, yes.

LOL! No, Eshara... I used to wrestle in high school. I wore singles back then. Thankfully, the days of be wearing skin-tight clothes are loooooong behind me.

I am rather ambivalent about most modern superhero movies. If you are saying that about this one, then I'm sure it's better than most, but... I just don't put much time into watching movies.

Ohhhhhhhhhh my bad 🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂💜🫂 I was picturing a beaver in a ballerina outfit 🥹 was sweet. Also a beautiful juxtaposition to the other things from your past you mentioned to me 🤯 my mind was blown 🤣🫂 wrestling makes more sense, I forgot that’s a part of the sports and fitness classes in the US

Yeahh new superhero films, though fun, aren’t as good 😔I can’t remember the plot points of the new ones. This one though, I’ll remember always. That being said definitely don’t feel you have to watch if you aren’t too into film, that’s fair I get that🫂 if you do ever watch it though, let me know, I loveee talking about that one 😍
