MITRE and CISA have released an open-source tool called MITRE Calder for OT, which emulates cyber-attacks against operational technology. The tool allows cyber professionals to run automated adversary emulation exercises to test and strengthen their cyber defenses for industrial control systems (ICS). This initiative aligns with the federal government's focus on securing critical infrastructure, as outlined in the US National Cybersecurity Strategy.
