Why not just update through the BitAxe interface itself?
Because it’s not responding. But I fixed it. sudo chmod myuserid /dev/ttyACM0
And it wasn’t responding because the little travel router I have for old 2.4 GHz devices defaults to AP isolation. I didn’t need to manually flash it, but live and learn.
Which distro? I had a hard time when I used fedora.
Arch…but the problem was solved at command line with sudo chown myuserid /dev/ttyACM0
And the original problem I was having was not being able to access the web interface, but that was due to WiFi access point isolation being on…it’s a travel router I keep for old 2.4 GHz devices. So I basically wasted an hour of my life…but it is all working fine now.
