I was talking about fictional stories.

The difference between humans and non-humans is not easy to explain, but I love non-human characters such as dragons and monsters, so I get excited when they are different from humans.

Like Stok-san said, there are many beloved non-human characters (like Simba or the dragons from Game of thrones), but unlike what I think Stok-san is saying, I think their human-like behaviour or interactions with humans is what makes them popular.
