I dont know how to quantify the collaborative building nature on nostr.
Its more than lines of code, and devs on nostr.
Devs pushing and building on each others work on app or protocol level does not exist on x, bluesky, mastodon today in the way it exists on nostr.
Extremely optimistic on the future.

I think attracting starving photographers to poast their art on nostr, and get paid for it might have legs.
I messaged a couple of photographers on twitter about this. One of them joined bluescam, and decided to remain on twitter for “reach”.
What do you think of attracting more photographers to nostr with the unique value prop of getting paid?

It's a good question. I'm not sure to be honest. It just takes time and exposure to the idea over and over again. I know that I got my friends IRL nostr:npub1e7pjckshj8x5gaek9fda4swf03tr6kg8czngh0wdh8xkrelfnwdspzh2sm here which is super cool.
Only time will tell by proof of work that we create here. It's hard to help someone when they don't want it, and we shouldn't get too upset about it.

Thanks for the mention Colin. I haven’t fully set this up yet - got some wallet problems - but I’ll figure it out. So true about helping people though, I know people who should definitely be setting up their Substack, but they have such a hard time thinking beyond Instagram. Anything other than that is too daunting for them. It’s a shame…
