I've maintained for a while that it's pretty sad to see the cultural rot that has occurred in Germany and Japan post WW2.

the first half of the 20th century saw some very drastic things out of those areas. so much so that millions of people died due to the extremism.

But now 80 years on, it feels like those once proud cultures should be back on track. Or at least have a path to find their identity again...but I just don't see it..all I see is cultural rot.
