Feeling a lot of gratitude for this little #camper that we’ve owned for 9 years and are finally selling.

I bought this right after I proposed to my wife- she needed a place to live since her lease was about to run out. We lived in it together for about 5 years (including 6 months with our oldest son who was born on the porch of it) basically rent free.

It allowed us to:

1. Pay off all of my wife’s student loans (cough for a degree she’s never used)

2. Save up enough to be able to buy and fix the cheapest/most broken house in our town and make it exactly how we wanted

3. Not have the space to accumulate/buy anything unnecessary to a minimalist yet prepped lifestyle

4. Rent it out to friends when they needed an in between place to live

5. Use it as a fort for our kids and their friends

Next it will help us fund the final big purchases for our solar power system.

At the beginning we thought about building a tiny house but the time, money and energy required aren’t even close when you do the math.

Would highly recommend to any people (especially youngins) who are in #debt or just want to live frugally to reach their goals later.
