How does #Liquid compare to #Lightning?

I like Lightning. Why would I use Liquid?

I have a very basic knowledge Liquid. It basically allows you to tokenize anything and back it with bitcoin by locking the value of 1BTC into a tokenized version backed with 1 LBTC. These tokens can be moved for free from 1 party to another and can’t be double spent because the real Btc is always backed by an LBTC token.

for e.g. you can put stable coins like #usdt on #liquid and send them around the world.
