Yea there are laws on the books for things like that, pretty sure its called treason. US intelligence should be keeping an eye on that instead of fear mongering to the public
And to use a sports analogy- when you lose a player or coach to a competing team you're gonna need to tweak the playbook to make their knowledge obsolete
