Listened to Peter thiel on Rogan, what was interesting to me is that thiel, despite being one of the richest people on earth and most influential people in tech was visibly nervous for the first hour of the pod.
Really shows the power of Rogans platform.
He seems more nervous than usual of late, compared to a few years ago... Not sure what is going on there.

Yeah. I personally think it's likely but from what I can find, there doesn't really seem to be any evidence for now other than the hoffman connection. I will retract my accusation for the time being.

About halfway through, I agree with your assessment. He seemed stunned by a couple of the questions and didnât appear too sure of the best way to respond.
Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, I recall listening to a Lex Fridman episode where he mentioned Peter Thiel. Lex mentioned something along the lines of, "I'd like to have him on, but he's too powerful and important to engage in any free-flowing conversation, except those centered around a single theme."
Maybe that bit of information is influencing my perspective, but I think the reason he seems nervous is that this might be the first time heâs participating in a public, free-flowing discussion. If most of his interview experience has been confined to narrow themes, then free-flowing for millions of people to listen to would definitely be a significant change of pace.
My two interesting take-aways were:
1- His thoughts on Bill Gates and much of what Gates has done was driven by his divorce with Melinda.
2- The idea that maybe what isn't the most important about AI isn't what is about to come, but what has already happened. AI passing the Turing test is a big deal, it is just going to take some time for the effects to penetrate society. As Bitcoiners, we recognize the time it takes for society to adapt and respond to changes in technology.
