I'll leave this here for those thinking about moving to Spain. Remember: this is only Income Tax + Social Security. Then you have 21% sales tax on most consumer goods, including fuel (which also has a 50%+ "especial" tax), heating gas, electricity and water. And tens if not hundreds of other revenue-capturing rackets.
Italy is more or less the same, I hear.
Oh yeah, NO way I’d ever move back after getting out of Europistan…
But still these villages are worth a study for some, I guess
