That’s not the case. Firstly, it’s not my project or product, so you aren’t my competitor. You have the situation backwards. I know node isn’t even trying to compete and that his project has a totally different scope. The part I find gross and don’t have a problem calling out is how it was handled. Semisol’s announcement was specifically timed to drown out node’s and that’s obvious to anyone with a brain. All of the hostility could have been avoided by simply DMing each other beforehand as a professional courtesy. That was in Semi’s court, but that’s not the route he chose. Instead he chose to be really dirty about it and then spinelessly not even admit to it when confronted about it. You seem like a stand up guy Derek, but your partner is a straight up bitch 😂

You might think it was specifically timed, but I could also say that based on our internal messaging and our public teasers, it seems to work out that it wasn't timed to drown out a competitor.

Maybe I would say that a competitor understood our teasers and wanted to get their service out before ours? 😂 The fact of the matter is, we don't see everyone's notes on Nostr. I sure as hell don't. It's hard. I miss a lot.

You and Semi went back and forth because you immediately accused him of something that just isn't true. I understand his frustration.

Lastly, I had a friend design a new logo for Nostr Plebs about a month ago. Whenever we launch our website redesign, please don't accuse us of only redoing our website to drown out a competitor. Sometimes things take priority over other tasks.
