I think this is why I like #nostr so much. My roots are in a community that goes hard on this type of decentralized governance structure. ‘Authority’ is delegated upwards from the individual and all the ‘rules’ are sorted out and interpreted by various delegations.

If you then can’t abide by your own root of delegated authority, you try to change it on the next go-around, or you simply move on.

#nostr has the same vibe. Sure, there are things I don’t like, but I am here for the unity and haven’t had reason enough to move on.
